For those of you wishing to get the most from your audio investments, here’s one of the most frequently overlooked solutions to extracting that last bit of detail and musicality from your equipment.  A cleaner and more stable power supply allows your eq0uipment to do its job better.  The end result is more enjoyment from your music.

Blue Circle has attempted to address the problem of a “dirty” power supply.  They have introduced a line of highly respected Blue Circle Power Line Pillow  powerline conditioners. 

There are also four power cords in the Blue Circle line, two models using 14 gauge* wire and two using 10 gauge. There is also one 10 gauge extension cord. All Blue Circle power cords share some basic characteristics: 

• All Blue Circle Power Cords are made from ultra-pure copper.    
• All Blue Circe Power Cords use hospital grade male plugs.
• All Blue Circle Power Cords do not use external shields.

Blue Circle feels that external shielding only protects the actual length of the power cord itself; it does nothing to attenuate any RF that is already in the supply line.  Further, most power cords using external shielding are very stiff, not flexible at all.

Blue Circle, uses a double reverse twist to attenuate RF.  Without going into all the science, this braiding technique attenuates any RF that is in the line regardless of where it was introduced.  It also allows for a power cord that is very flexible and easy to use.
