Audiomeca's Obsession II is the perfect CD player for anyone focused on getting the most from their system.  The French designed Obsession II is an extremely well-built and designed player.  The exterior is comprised of black glossy metacrylate and black steel giving this unit rigidity and damping, eliminating mechanical vibration associated distortion. 

Within the unit, the same attention to detail has been applied.  The Obsession II can function as a CD player or as a transport.  To this end, the power supply for the servo and DAC has been completely separated.  The three beam laser pickup allows the Obsession II to bring out astonishing detail and the 24bit/96 kHz DAC brings this potential to realization. 

The results...a wonderfully musical picture that is full of detail, coherence, and music truth.  Simply amazing!
