In the MkII version of the BC8s, a number of changes have been made.  Redesigned circuitry and the use of different wiring has resulted in improved retrieval and presentation of detail.  As well, highs are cleaner with improved "feel" to them.  In the power supply, what's been learned in the AG8000 flagship amplifier has been applied in the BC8s.  This gives the BC8 MkIIs a bigger bottom end that is faster, tighter and possesses very realistic weight!

So, overall, how do the BC8 MkII monoblocks sound and how will you know if they're the right amp for you?  Well, here's what we can tell you.  If you're looking for a solid state amplifier that reproduces music with emotion, vibrance, and life, the BC8s are a must to be considered.  The 225watt BC8 monoblocks produce a very musical sound that is nothing short of an experience!  They're delicate, refined and catch every little detail without detracting from the overall presentation.  The bass is detailed and extended with life-like slam while highs are exciting, energetic but not fatiguing in any manner.  Imaging is delightful, airy, coherent, and very much 3-dimensional while vocals will take your breath away.  The 8s are one of the most dynamic amps we've heard!  Simply put, the BC8's produce emotive music that will keep you happy for years.
