Housed in the BC22 chassis
The BC24 and BC28 both use one 6922 per channel running in single-ended
high bias Class A mode. Blue Circle proprietary design, which
operates the 6922 tube within its most linear part of the tube.
Solid-state high bias Class AB output stage for difficult load.
The over all design is "taken" from the flagship AG8000
amplifier. These hybrid amps with their Class AB output stage
will drive speakers with difficult loads, making both amps ideal
for people looking for the perfect match for a system requiring
single-ended sound.
Both are housed in a single stereo chassis to save space.
The cost of replacing the 6922 tubes is only USD $30. This
is in contrast to other single-ended tube amps where the replacement
cost of the tube may be more than the amp itself!!
'These amps run very cool unless driven at high volume for extended
periods. Blue Circle Audio’s soft-start is employed
to prolong the life of the tubes Every cent of these amps
has been dedicated to musicality, not expensive accessories or functional
looks.
