There are two volume control options available
for selected Blue Circle products in addition to the standard controls
offered in the stock configuration.
Motorized Remote Volume Control:
This option is available for the CS, BC21.1, BC3 Despina
& Galatea, BC3000 and BC9 preamps as well as the BC29 Integrated
amplifier. In the case of the CS, BC21.1 and BC29 it replaces the
stock control. In the BC3 Despina & Galatea, BC3000 and BC9
it is installed internally and the unit can be switched between
manual and remote control. This allows the user to chose between
the convenience of remote or the substantially better sonic quality
of the stock Shallco volume controls.
Shallco Ladder Attenuator:
Until now Blue Circle has reserved the Shallco volume control
for our top of the line dual mono preamplifiers. The addition of
this Shallco attenuator to the BC21.1 greatly improves the sonic
performance over the stock attenuator. The result - improved
detail, lower noise floor, and, overall, improved musicality.
